How to Inspect & Replace 3D Printer Toolhead Filament Cutters
Automated multi-color printing relies on a sharp cutter blade inside the toolhead to cleanly sever filament before retracting into the 3D Printing Glossary">AMS. A dull or chipped blade bends the filament end, causing frequent AMS feeding jams.
