A temperature tower (or temp tower) is a vertical calibration model featuring multiple identical overhangs, bridges, cones, and fine details, where each tiered section is sliced to print at a progressively higher or lower hotend temperature.

How a Temp Tower Is Sliced with Dynamic G-Code

Using slicer layer change scripts or built-in calibration generators (such as in OrcaSlicer), the printer dynamically modifies the active hotend temperature at specific Z-height milestones (e.g. 220°C $ ightarrow$ 215°C $ ightarrow$ 210°C $ ightarrow$ 205°C $ ightarrow$ 200°C for PLA).
