3D print licenses are legal authorizations set by model creators that determine how digital files and physical prints may be used, distributed, or commercialized. Common licenses include Creative Commons variants and platform-specific digital file licenses.
Commercial Use Allowed Licenses
Licenses allowing physical prints to be sold commercially include CC BY (Attribution), CC BY-SA (ShareAlike), CC BY-ND (NoDerivatives), and CC0 / Public Domain. As long as attribution requirements are satisfied, makers can sell printed objects legally.
Non-Commercial (Personal Use Only) Licenses
