A print profile is a complete, pre-configured bundle of slicer parameters — including layer height, wall line counts, infill density, print speeds, retraction distances, and support thresholds — tuned and tested for a specific 3D model and printer model.

Components of a Print Profile

A profile packages hardware settings (e.g. 0.4mm nozzle on Bambu X1C), filament parameters (temperatures, flow ratios, cooling fan curves), and object-specific modifiers (e.g. tree supports, brim width, seam placement).

User Ratings & Community Verification

On MakerWorld, multiple community creators can upload alternative print profiles for a single 3D design (e.g. "0.12mm High Quality", "0.20mm High Speed", "Dual-Color AMS"). Users rate and verify profiles based on print success.
