双挤出与 IDEX
Definition
双挤出指配备两个热端、能够同时或依次送入两种独立耗材的 3D 打印机。在独立双挤出机（IDEX）系统中，每个工具头在不工作时停靠到一侧，以防漏料，并实现复制或镜像打印模式。

双挤出可实现可溶支撑和双色，代价是冲刷废料和更慢的打印。两者都会增加材料和机器小时成本——在承诺报价前先计价。

双挤出允许用刚性工程塑料（PLA、ABS）打印主体模型，同时用水溶性 PVA 或可掰断的 HIPS 打印复杂支撑，从而能从无法触及的内部空腔中移除支撑。
IDEX 架构与单喷嘴换色
与每次换色都必须冲刷耗材的单喷嘴系统（如 Bambu AMS）不同，IDEX 打印机即时切换工具头且零冲刷废料，在双色作业上节省数小时打印时间。
复制与镜像批量模式
IDEX 打印机可以在分割后的打印板上同步运行两个打印头，用打印一个零件的时间打印两个相同或镜像的零件，实际上使打印农场产能翻倍。
